Summer Fun!

We have had a pretty full summer!!  Lots of family time and fun trips!  We took the kids out to lunch at the bowling alley and even bowled a game!  

My mom and I took the kids to Utah for my cousin's wedding.

We had lots of fun with cousins.

We had to come home early because everyone got sick.

We spent a lot of time in the pool!!

We went to San Francisco on our way to visit Rick's mom. 

While we were visiting Rick's mom we went to an awesome swimming hole!

We also visited the Sacramento Train Museum!

We explored Old Town Sacramento. 

We visited our favorite park!

We took the kids to Sea World for the first time.

We also visited the San Diego Museum of Natural History.

We visited the Fresno Zoo.

We had so much fun this summer!!!!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July.  We swam, ate good food, and set off fireworks.

Matthew Turns 6

My hansom little man turned six!  I can't believe six whole years have passed since this little guy came into our lives!!  He is sweet and incredibly strong willed!  He is passionate about his hobbies and fiercely loyal to those he loves!  He loves to make new friends, play outside, swim, draw and play video games.    

This year Matthew wanted a Minecraft party, so we had creepers everywhere!  Matthew had so much fun playing with all his friends! 

As usual Grandma hit it out of the park with his cake!

My sweet Matthew has grown so fast!  Long gone are his sweet chubby, pinch-able, rosy cheeks.  He has gone from adorable baby to hansom devil too fast!!  Please slow down!!!  

Jackson's First B-Day!!

For Jackson's 1st birthday we had a Sunday picnic.  We shared a picnic lunch and cake with family and a few friends.  We opened presents and played croquet.  The kids also had an Easter egg hunt!  It was a fun day, and now our baby is a toddler.  I'm not sure where the past year has gone?!  It all went by so fast,  and while I'm glad to see Jackson growing and learning I miss my tiny little baby!  Jackson is definitely growing into his own personality!  He has begun to make his will known.  He is sweet, strong willed, curious and way too daring!  He climbs everything!!!  He seems to like the color red.  He loves food among his favorites are, strawberries, tomatoes and chicken nuggets. (he also loves just about any fruit or pasta)  So far the only words he says are mom and dada.  He loves to play with his older brother and sister!!!  

Jackson is Going to be One

I can't believe a year has passed since we welcomed our little Jackson into the world!  He will be 1 year old in four days!! He has been such a sweet and fairly easy baby, this year has just flown by.  He is mastering the skill of walking and learning a new word here and there!  He loves to play with his big brother and sister and is constantly trying to keep up with them.  He loves to snuggle, and absolutely loves to eat!! 

Matthew and Lilly felt like they needed to be part of Jackson's one year pictures! 

Getting Crafty

I Celebrated my 28th birthday this year...crazy!  Rick bought me some wonderful gifts, a necklace and a key chain that I have had my eye on!  We had a quiet dinner and cake with my parents.

  

I've recently discovered that I can successfully do "crafty" things!!  I made a wreath for our door, and finally mastered crocheting!! 

Matthew also had his last enrichment class for this year.  He was pretty sad when he found out he wouldn't be going back until next school year.  He learned so much, and loved most of his classes!!
